Keep Filling Out Those Census Forms, Rye Residents

Keep Filling Out Those Census Forms, Rye Residents

As of last weekend, just under 68 percent of Rye City households have responded to the 2020 Census, according to County Executive George Latimer’s office. While this places Rye in the upper third of all Westchester municipalities, the response is down 6 percent from 2010 when 74.3 percent responded. Ardsley leads the County with 75.5 percent.

This year, the bulk of responses have been done online, but you can also mail in a form or answer the questions over the phone. The door-to-door phase of the effort has not yet begun, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Census collection ends October 31.

Anyone who wishes to complete the Census online can do so in fewer than 10 minutes by clicking on 2020census.gov.
