Juliana Kennedy and Kevin Donlin were married on September 9, 2023, in the parish where they both grew up, at Church of the Resurrection in Rye, New York. Father Daniel O’Reilly officiated. Elizabeth Lutz, a cousin of the bride, was the soloist. The bride’s sisters, Norah and Laurel, were the maidmatrons of honor, and Kaitlyn (Katie) Demaria and Greg Smyth were the groom’s best woman and best man. A reception followed at Whitby Castle.
The bride is in the second year of her three-year Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., the alma mater of her parents, Sue and Jim Kennedy of Rye. She also attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed her residency at NYU Langone in New York City. Her father, who is retired, worked in telecommunications at IBM’s Rolm division, Cisco, and other companies; and her mother is a real estate attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York City.
The groom is a Director at Bridge Renewable Energy Investment Group. He graduated from Georgetown University, the alma mater of his parents. He is the son of Paul and Pamela Donlin, former residents of Rye, of Naples, Florida. His father worked for over 21 years at Citibank, most recently as head of Global Securitization.
