<<Rachel Egan>> was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Egan is a student at the University of Delaware.

Two students from Rye graduated from Union College last month. Congratulations to <<Jake Kirshner>, who received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, and <<Alissa Vitiello>>, who received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Sameer Naeem earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

At Colgate University’s 197th Commencement last month, three local students were among the graduates.

<<Dylan Bass>> graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a graduate of Rye Country Day School. <<Alec Hufford>> graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. He is a graduate of Rye High School. <<Paul Leake>> received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and graduated cum laude. He is a graduate of Rye Country Day School.

Among the members of the Bucknell University class of 2018 were Mamta Badlani, Dillon LaFata, Norah Murphy, Dan Papert, Grier Poole, and Marc Schneider.

Three local students earned degrees from Lehigh University. <<Dana Waxenberg>> received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. <<Edward DeDomenico>> earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. <<James Murabito>> graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Four Rye students graduated from Wesleyan University last month. Congratulations to Ian Chabot (BA in Science in Society), Yoon Jeong Choi (MA in Chemistry), James Forster (BA in English), and Alison Keough (BA in English and Film Studies).

<<Myles Burbank, Caroline Franchella, Liam Tack, and George Voller>> were named to the Dean’s list at Gettysburg College for the spring semester.

Among the students who earned a place on the SUNY New Paltz Dean’s list for the spring semester were <<Emily Brown, Nanri Iwasa, Eileen Molloy, Meghan Molloy, and Natalie Pugliatti>>. All achieved a 3.3 GPA or higher.

<<Isabelle Diedwards, Krista Hoffman, Fiorella Seminario-Espinosa, Ashna Sikand, and Jack Westerink>> were named to the Dean’s list at the University of Albany.

Named to the Dean’s list at Tufts University for achieving a GPA of 3.4 or higher this spring were <<Julia Atkins, Robert Bartlett, Emma Chu, Reagan Doran, Nola Jenkins, and Sarah Nechamkin>>.

Laura Byrd was named to the Merrimack College Dean’s list for the spring semester.

At the University of Hartford, <<Samantha Carpino, Michael Twyman, and Gentiana Xhema >> were named to the Dean’s list for the spring term.
