Take a break from winter and think tropical. The Orchid Dreams exhibit, featuring a display of 200 flowering tropical orchids opens Saturday, February 17, 10 a.m. at Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial in Somers. The exhibit inside the Conservatory will also feature interpretive signs to help visitors understand these beautiful, showy plants.
The exhibit, which runs through March 18, is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays, 10-4. Weekday tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Weekends and Presidents Day tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children.
Tickets can be purchased at the Garden Shop until 3:30 p.m. on exhibit days. Snacks, gifts, and orchids are available for sale at the shop.
