Treasures Await at Thrift Shop Sale
Mark your calendars for the semi-annual Saturday Sale at the Rye Presbyterian Thrift Shop, October 27 from 9-1. Twice a year, in the fall and the spring, the shop opens on Saturday. Volunteers set up the Assembly Room so that shoppers have a perfect view of all the beautiful items, many of which have been donated by your neighbors and friends.
The sale features more and slightly bigger items – bikes, desks, lamps, framed art — as well as jewelry, crystal, holiday décor, the ever-popular handbag table, toys, housewares, china, entertaining ware.
Whatever people donate, the shop will sell.
Everyone enjoys the treasure hunt – and there are many treasures to be found. Charming, useful, elegant, silly, and wacky items abound. For a sneak preview, visit ryepc.com/ministries/thrift-shop.
