Upon further investigation and witness statement reviews, RPD found that the victim had been midway to the roof when he groaned, grabbed his midsection, and rolled over on his side, falling about 25 feet to the ground. A co-worker, Emiliano Alvarado, brought him to a seated position while Vitola yelled for help. Alvarado stated that he moved the victim, who was laying on his left side in a small pool of blood, because he appeared to be in respiratory distress. He had been conscious but incoherent.
