Troop 2 Boy Scouts helped Members of American Legion Post 128 perform a flag retirement ceremony at Disbrow Park last Saturday. The worn or soiled U.S. flags were ones deposited in the collection box at City Hall or recovered from veterans’ graves at Greenwood Union Cemetery. They were burned according to American Legion procedure.
