A Little Mid-Century Madness

A LITTLE MID-CENTURY MADNESS:
Art was the heart of the matter at the Rye Arts Center’s spring gala April 18.

Art was the heart of the matter at the Rye Arts Center’s spring gala April 18. Shenorock Shore Club was the perfect backdrop at which to celebrate a community that holds beauty, generosity, and outreach in high regard, and to enjoy a martini, shaken or stirred.

Four couples co-chaired the event in style. Hats off to Fiona and Ozgen Dogan, Suzanna and Andrew Keith, Amy and Shaun Lawrence, and Anne and Don Pollard. The evening’s honorees — Kim Berns, Eileen Neiman, and Robin and Peter Jovanovich — toasted (and roasted thanks to Kim) the little but longtime arts center on Milton Road that has embraced its mission with purpose and delight.
