Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty and My Sisters’ Place hosted a different kind of fundraiser, “A Taste of Rye,” on September 20.
Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty and My Sisters’ Place hosted a different kind of fundraiser, “A Taste of Rye,” on September 20. By purchasing a ticket, participants were able to sip, snack, and stroll at six restaurants featured on the tasting tour: Ruby’s Oyster Bar, Morgan’s Fish House, Encore, Town Dock, Rye Bar & Grill, and Fogama. The chef at each stop prepared a special appetizer.
The company sold over 350 tickets to the event, matching each ticket purchased up to total of $7,500, and raised an additional $6,000 through a company-held silent auction, featuring items donated by Rye merchants. In total, the company raised over $30,000. The organization also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter, and legal services to those in need.
