White Plains Hospital invites area residents to take a tour of the hospital to learn about its variety of services and programs. Tours, led by members of the Friends of White Plains Hospital will be offered on Wednesday, November 11 at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The hospital, which has been part of the Westchester community for over 120 years, is in the midst of a campus-wide transformation, which includes a brand-new lobby and entranceway; new six-story patient tower with 24 private patient rooms; five state-of-the-art operating suites; as well as a new labor and delivery wing. Additionally, a second cardiac catheterization lab and an expanded cancer center are nearing completion.

Those who take the tour will be able to learn about areas such as emergency care, cardiology, maternity, and oncology, and will have a chance to meet some of the staff and volunteers.

For more information or to sign up for a tour, call 681-1119 or email vhochman@wphospital.org.
