The 28th annual Bedford Spring Antiques Show will take place April 6 and 7 in a new venue: the Harvey School’s new state-of-the-art athletic center in Katonah.

More than 30 renowned dealers from across the East Coast are expected to have displays at this year’s show. The show first opened its doors in 1986, and a loyal clientele returns year after year to shop a beautiful and well-arranged mix of exceptional antique furnishings and accessories.

First-time buyers and seasoned collectors will be delighted by an eclectic mix of furniture, fine art and prints, estate jewelry, silver, china, crystal, and decorative accessories.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be at The Harvey School for the first time in the show’s history,” said Suzanne Bowers, show chair. “It provides a fresh venue that we believe will enhance the experience for everyone who comes to the show.”

There will be a Preview Party on Friday, April 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Harvey School to kick off the show. Guests will have the opportunity to make early purchases before the event opens to the public, and enjoy wines and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $75 in advance and $100 at the door. The ticket price includes readmission to the show throughout the weekend.

A dinner and live auction will follow the Preview Party at Harvey’s beautiful Walker Center for the Arts. Tickets for the dinner must be purchased in advance.

The show opens to the public on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission at the door is $10.

The organizers of the show are delighted to have one of New York’s best-known style connoisseurs, Carolyne Roehm, serve as Honorary Chair of the opening night Champagne Preview Party. For more than two decades Roehm has been viewed as one of this country’s trendsetters in fashion, elegance, and taste making. A best-selling author, she will be signing copies of her recently published book, “Flowers” and her classic book, “A Passion for Blue and White” during the Preview Party.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the 28th year of the Bedford Antiques Show,” said show manager Kathy Abbott of Kathy Abbott Interiors. “This show celebrates the fact that beautiful antiques never go out of style.”

The Bedford Spring Antiques Show is sponsored by St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bedford. For additional show information, contact 234-9636 or email BSAS@stmatthewsbedford.org.
