Twig Antiques is running a special, deep-discount holiday sale of some of its larger items as it looks forward to bringing new merchandise in early next year. All Twig profits go to charitable causes such as the local EMS.
Among the sale items are a French provincial glass-topped desk by Baker, originally priced at $1,100, now just $600. Other tables, desks, and chairs are reduced by as much as 50 percent, some antique, some traditional, and some mid-20th century.
The sale starts today, December 14, and runs through December 29. The Twig Shop, which is up the hill from Carpet Trends at 24 Smith Street, is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For holiday shopping, it will also be open the last two Sundays before Christmas from 12-4 p.m.
