Hogan began dancing at the age of 8 at JG Dance Arts Center in Hyde Park with Broadway and TV veterans Joseph and Ginnie Mazzello. After high school, she studied dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
