Rye Neck Middle School sixth grader Peter Nicholas won a Silver Medal at the National MathCON Finals, an academic competition hosted by Concept Schools in Chicago on April 23.

 

Rye Neck Middle School sixth grader Peter Nicholas won a Silver Medal at the National MathCON Finals, an academic competition hosted by Concept Schools in Chicago on April 23. Over 570 students competed, a number initially narrowed down from a whopping 45,000 online participants from across the country. 

 

Selected alongside Nicholas was fellow Rye Neck Middle School student Caleb Alter, as well as Rye Neck High School students Benjamin Banker, Bennett Taylor, Olivia Dunne, Ema Jovanovic, and Olivia King, all of whom had strong showings throughout the weekend.
