The Rye City School District Board of Education seeks community members to serve on several of its committees. The District’s working committees focus on specific annual charges and report progress at Board meetings throughout the year. Their recommendations make for more effective and efficient operation of the schools.
The committees that are open to citizen participation are: Audit, Curriculum Council, Facilities, Finance and Borrowing, Tax Cap Task Force, and Instructional Technology.
If you are interested in serving as a member of any of these committees, contact Karina Stabile, Public Information Officer, at stabilek@ryeschools.org. An application form can be found on the Rye City School website, www.ryeschools.org.
