The “End of the Year Jam,” an outdoor concert at Rye High School produced and presented by the school’s Entrepreneur Club, had the joint jumping. Founded by student Charles Rimmer and advised by Andre Soto, the club’s objective is to teach students how to create a grassroots organization where they can learn to plan, produce, and run an event. The Club has organized various musical events throughout the past year, including all of the musical performances at Rye High’s recent G-Day event, as well as the monthly jam sessions in the RHS Media Center. The outdoor jam session was the culmination of the club’s yearlong efforts.
