At their November meeting, members of Ceres Garden Club created holiday baskets of greenery that were delivered to Meals-on-Wheels recipients in Rye in time for Thanksgiving. This is just one example of the Club’s civic projects; the hanging planters of flowers that brighten downtown Purchase Street in spring and summer are another.

New members and guests are always welcome at the Club’s meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Damiano Center. Call Club President Ann Moller at 967-5419 to learn more. Men as well as women are welcome. For more information, contact Meg Stackpole at cstackpole@aol.com or 967-0317.
