Charles Soutter Campbell Clement, 62, died unexpectedly on February 1, 2020 at his home in Norwich, Vermont.
Born January 11, 1959 at United Hospital in Port Chester, New York, he was the son of Anne and Stuart Clement Jr. He grew up in Rye. He graduated from the Groton School and Dartmouth College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.
On January 2, 1981, he married Kristin Julian. They made their home in Norwich.
Mr. Clement was Director of Development of Mt. Ascent Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, farm golf, ice hockey, croquet, and horseshoes.
“Charlie will be remembered for his charismatic personality and his desire to make the world a better place,” said his family. “He was deeply loved by all who knew him.”
In addition to his wife Kristin, he is survived by his mother and five siblings. He was predeceased by his father.
