City School Budget Passes;
Kamath and Stein Elected to Board
In the first mail-in election, City of Rye residents passed the District’s upcoming 2020-2021 budget by a vote of 1,883 to 706 and voted in two new Board members. Tom Stein led with 930 votes and Vivek Kamath was second with 729. The results were announced at the June 16 School Board meeting.
Total votes cast increased to 2,589 from 2,286 in 2019.
