On February 7, three City Council members skipped a special Council meeting in an act of bizarre political gamesmanship. We elect our City Council members to represent, and, by not showing up, those three let us down. Of course, City Council members sometimes have to miss meetings, because they’re out of town or sick. But boycotting a City Council meeting to make a political point is unconscionable. Anyone who does that is unworthy of the office.
