To assist with clean-up from Hurricane Sandy, Westchester residents can deliver acceptable items to the Household Material Recovery Facility tomorrow, November 1, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The H-MRF is located on the Grasslands Campus, 15 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY.
Items such as labeled household chemicals, gasoline, propane tanks, electronics, fluorescent bulbs (including CFLs), appliances, and fire extinguishers are accepted. Waste from schools, institutions, and businesses will not be accepted.
