Early this morning, while a woman was out walking her dog at Milton Harbor, she saw a body floating in the water. She immediately called 911.
Within minutes, a number of Rye Police officers were on the scene. They quickly cordoned off the entries to the docks. While waiting for the medical examiner to arrive, RPD retrieved car keys from the dead man’s pocket, and opened his sports utility vehicle which was parked at the Marina. They were able to identify the man, but have not yet publicly released his name or stated the cause of death.
