Whether you are hosting a crowd or watching Super Bowl 50 with your family, here are two dinner recipes that are a great alternative to snacking on too many football appetizers. You can set them out warm, but they are still delicious at room temperature, which is ideal for grazing diners on Super Bowl Sunday.

The tasty Pimento Cheese Sliders recipe comes from Williams-Sonoma and can be doubled for a crowd, while the Mexican Pork Tenderloin recipe is from RealSimple and packs a lot of flavor. The pork is perfectly complimented by an avocado sauce that can be made in advance. Both recipes can be finger food, which is also helpful if you have a crowd, and not too overwhelming if you have already inhaled a lot of chips and dip.

I’ve served the sliders and pork together for dinner with our neighbors and the two complemented each other really well. They are both kid-tested and approved. I recommend serving them with a big green salad with a lemon or citrus vinaigrette, unless of course that is way too healthy for the Super Bowl.
