Brian and Lisa Dempsey of Rye, New York are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Dempsey, to Jenner Stunkard, the son of Joe and Kristin Stunkard of New Fairfield, Connecticut.
The couple began dating during their freshman year at Penn State University. The future groom proposed at Terrazza Viale del Belvedere in Rome, Italy, on December 12, 2022.
In 2016, Ms. Dempsey graduated from Rye High School and Mr. Stunkard from New Fairfield High School.
Both graduated from Penn State University in May 2020. The future bride earned a B.A in Advertising/Public Relations and the future groom a B.S. in Finance.
Together, they have a Golden Retriever named Finn.
A 2024 wedding is planned.
