Food Network Star Stops By for ‘Galentine’s Day’

Katie Lee Biegel, co-host of the Food Network’s “The Kitchen,” gave a talk and cooking demonstration on Feb. 12 at Wainwright House. Biegel’s visit was sponsored by Remarkable Moms, whose founder, Liz Woods, interviewed the cookbook author and food critic about her career and experiences as food critic, wine connoisseur, and working mom.

Biegel delivered a message of belief and empowerment to the assembled crowd of about 50 women who “ate up” her positive message.

Her biggest tip? “Relax for a few minutes every day,” which Biegel says she does each morning with a cup of coffee. Woods and Biegel were assisted at the event by Biegel’s producer, Candice Lombardi, who lives in Rye.
