SCORE PT Adds ‘Recovery Lounge’

RYE – SCORE Physical Therapy & Recovery has added a new “Recovery Lounge” to its facility at 13 McCullough Place.

The new lounge features an array of warm- and cold-based therapies that encourage muscle recovery and reduce inflammation for athletes, people recovering from surgeries, or those who just want to stay healthy.

SCORE Chief Executive Officer Doug Geller called the new Recovery Lounge a “significant milestone in our commitment to providing comprehensive care and innovative solutions to our clients.”

The new therapy offerings include whole body cryotherapy, which uses below-zero temperatures to hasten muscle recovery and reduce inflammation, and local cryotherapy, which targets specific parts of the body for pain relief and improved mobility.

Also added is an infrared sauna that promotes relaxation and boosts circulation; red light therapy that stimulates cellular repair, reduces pain and aids healing; compression therapy, a treatment that reduces swelling and improves circulation, and “game ready,” a cold compression system that is best for those recovering from surgery or rehabilitating after an injury.

SCORE therapists devise specific treatment plans for individual clients and Geller said the facility is offering discounts to new members.

More information about the new therapies and SCORE’s other offering can be found on the SCORE website at www.SCOREwithPT.com, emailing info@SCOREwithPT.com, or by calling or texting 914-639-5126.
