Not even a howling nor’easter stopped supporters of the Friends of Rye Nature Center from making it to their Oktoberfest celebration last Friday. Just like the fairground festival in Germany, RNC’s annual event under the tent is folksy and fun. Guests enjoyed crisp seasonal brews, traditional food, and music that made you want to roll out the barrel.
Proceeds from the sold-out event will go to support our Nature Center’s environmental education and outreach programs.
