The Rye Rotary Club is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Dr. Joseph Soury Good Citizen Awards. The recipients are selected by school staff and faculty based on their achievement and service to the school.

Congratulations to Alaire Kanes, a Rye Middle School student; Leah Zion, a fifth grader at Milton; Samuel Gibbs, a fifth grader at Midland; and Jessie Gadaleta, a fifth grader at Osborn. Jessie is continuing a family tradition — her father Frank won the same award when he was in fourth grade.

For many years Dr. Soury, who is a Rotary member, was the principal of Midland School.
