In celebration of its centennial, the Rye YMCA will host a Scavenger Hunt in downtown Rye Sunday, September 21, from 2-4:30. Families are invited to form a team of four to six people and test their wits and teamwork as they search for answers to tricky and humorous questions about local places and sights. This fun-filled event is designed not only to encourage physical activity but also to connect with their intellect as they solve puzzles and riddles and overcome obstacles.

The hunt starts and ends in the Y parking lot and all the activity takes place within a half-mile distance. The cost is $50 per team. Registration is available at www.ryeymca.org/scavenger until September 12.

Organized by the professionals at Watson’s Adventures, this is sure to be a memorable afternoon. The event is made possible through the generous support of All Paws, County Coach Corp., Geico local office, Sanders Mantzikos Shamus DDS, Sotheby’s, TD Bank, and WISH.
