Harpist Grace Cloutier will perform May 4 at 4. Known for her expressive musicality and rich, warm sound, the Julliard-trained musician gave her solo début (2006) and encore solo recital (2008) at Carnegie Hall. The New York Concert Review hailed Cloutier as, “an accomplished, poised, self-assured performer.”
On May 18 at 4, Ruaraidh Sutherland, Director of Music at Christ’s Church, will perform a program of organ music by Johann Sebastian Bach, along with complimentary works by his forebears, contemporaries, and descendants. Choir & Organ has described Sutherland as a player with “rhapsodic verve.”
Entry is free for the concerts, but a donation of $20 will be gratefully received.
