“The new facilities will enhance our academic, athletic, and arts programs and will add significantly to the profile of this unique school,” said Alfred Kelly Jr., chairman of Holy Child’s Board of Trustees. “We all look forward to the day we cut the ribbon for the Field House and fill the seats in the new theater.”
This chapter in Holy Child’s 110-year history also includes dedicated studio and classroom space for the E.E. Ford Program in Architecture, Engineering, and Design.
The 22,000-square-foot Field House will include a 9,700-square-foot gym with two full-size courts, weight and fitness and athletic training rooms, and a dance and movement studio.
Once the field house is completed, the current gym will be converted into a 400-seat theater space for music, dance, and drama productions, liturgies, and assemblies.
Peter Gisolfi Associates of Hastings designed the new facilities.
