In the top spot, Bridget Stanton scored a draw. Junior captain Claire Monahan won two and one at the second spot. She now has 19 career wins, a school record. In the third spot, Tori Huchro won three and two. Katie Shultis won four, and three at number four and Marlowe Dalton won two up in the fifth spot.
Overall, four players have three season wins: Juniors Monahan and Stanton and sophomores Huchro and Shultis.
Coach Duignan said, “Monahan’s strengths are her fantastic work ethic and that she hits the ball farther than any other player off the tee. Huchro and Shultis are also long off the tee. Stanton relies on strong iron play and accuracy around the green.” He continues. “As a team we have putted well all year which has kept us in matches when we are not as accurate as we would like to be from the tee box.”
The entire team agrees that they are having fun and get along like family. Coach added. “When you are having fun you can relax and gain confidence. When you are confident, you are free to perform at your best. We are a confident group right now.”
