How Pollutants Go Round and Round

Rye Garden Club Conservation Committee members brought Enviroscape to Rye Country Day second and third graders earlier this month.

Rye Garden Club Conservation Committee members brought Enviroscape to Rye Country Day second and third graders earlier this month. The club uses this interactive exhibit to teach school children how everyday living and the everyday use of chemicals and pesticides in our homes and businesses, as well as on our yards and roads, can unintentionally pollute reservoirs, rivers, and oceans. Students also learned how to prevent some of the pollution from reaching the waterways.

The Club will share the Enviroscape with other elementary school children throughout the year.
