Joe Personeni

 

Joseph V. Personeni, 84, died peacefully in his sleep November 3, 2018 after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease.

He was born and lived in New York City prior to moving to Westchester County in 1970.

He graduated from the Collegiate School and Hobart College and became a pilot in the US Air Force. He went on to a successful 40-year career in the financial industry, retiring in 1996.

In addition to his wife, Jane Personeni of Rye, he is survived by his daughter, Lee Daniel, grandson Straus Daniel, son-in-law Greg Daniel of Saddle River N.J.; and his brother-in-law, Paul Reynolds of Boynton Beach, Fla.

The family extends their deepest thanks and gratitude to the staffs of Greenwich Hospital and The Osborn for the care and compassion they provided to Joe over the course of his illness.

Donations in Mr. Personeni?s memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Research Foundation for Parkinson Disease or the Wounded?Warrior Project.
