First, Mamaroneck Mayor Norman Rosenblum declared Carly Rose Sonenclar Day when she performed (and was runner-up) in the “X-Factor” finale last month. Now, he is closing Mamaroneck Avenue for a community celebration for the Rye Neck eighth grader, who won the hearts of America with her astounding voice.
“I’m so happy to have the chance to thank my fans, neighbors, and Carly’s angels in person,” said the 13-year-old superstar.
Rye Neck School District participants, bands, bagpipers, fire engines, Carly’s Angels, and plenty of fans will be on hand. All are welcome!
