Kobayashi Earns Top Five Ranking

 

In September, Karen Kobayashi won a bronze medal at the ANC Continental Cup in Cardrona, New Zealand. She competed against Olympians and World Cup riders in that snowboardcross race, the sport’s top event in the Southern Hemisphere. This earned her the No. 5 ranking for U.S. women in the sport — and a spot for the World Cup.

This earned her the No. 5 ranking for U.S. women in the sport — and a spot for the World Cup.

 

The first one is in Montafon, Austria, and the second is in Telluride, Colorado. Both will be held in December.

 

Kobayashi will be representing the U.S. in the World Cup with Olympians Lindsey Jacobellis, Callan Chythlook-Sifsof, and Faye Gulini.
