League of Women Voters to hold School Board Candidates Forum May 6

The League of Women Voters – Rye, Rye Brook & Port Chester, will sponsor a Candidates Forum for candidates seeking election to the Rye City School District Board of Education on Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m., in the multi-purpose room of Rye Middle School.

 

The League of Women Voters – Rye, Rye Brook & Port Chester, will sponsor a Candidates Forum for candidates seeking election to the Rye City School District Board of Education on Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m., in the multi-purpose room of Rye Middle School.

 

There are two Board seats up for election. Currently three candidates have filed petitions for candidacy. The deadline for filing the required petitions with the School District is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1.  The Board of Education Election and the vote on the 2013-14 School District Budget will be held on Tuesday, May 21.
