Fashionably Festive

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when it comes to putting on your best. If you’re like me, you love an excuse to dress up and get out the festive threads. There is something about pretty dresses and sparkly accessories that gives me a jolt of excitement, and an urge to shop. What better way to get in the spirit than to throw on something new and shiny!

When shopping for pieces to ring in the holidays, consider ones that do double duty. A shimmering top you buy to wear to a holiday party can and should be incorporated into your day-to-day ensemble — under a blazer, over jeans — to elevate your winter wardrobe.

This season, take suiting up a notch with runway-favorite tuxedo jackets — ones with satin lapels, decorated cuffs. If you’re feeling bold, go all out in metallics, matchy-matchy velvets, or sequined sensations that reveal a little skin.

Red, a holiday classic, also happens to be the pop color of the season, so be that lady in red.

Shine bright in something authentically you this holiday season.
