The Rotary Club of Rye’s annual food drive weighed in at 1,000 pounds! Additionally, 1,200 diapers and other personal hygiene products were donated and deposited at local banks for distribution.
The beneficiaries are Bread of Life Food Pantry in Rye, The Carver Center in Port Chester, The Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester, and My Sister’s Place in White Plains.
“Helping neighbors who need a hand is a tradition that dates back to Rye Rotary’s founding 61 years ago,” said member and local attorney Rita Tino.
