Love in the Time of Revolution
The Parsons Street Players were masters of very full houses last weekend for their powerful production of “Les Misérables”. Nearly 100 Rye High School students were part of the cast, crew, and band.
The musical, based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, is a tale of redemption, passion, and, most of all, love, notes director Tom Snowden. “I consider this story a love story because it shows how each character ultimately sacrifices himself or herself for love of another person, country, ideals, or faith.”
