On a dark and windy December night, Rye Rec held their joyous 29th Holiday Bonfire and Sing-a-Long. Before the main outside events, Mario the Magician was up to his old — and a lot of new tricks – and put on an entertaining show for a crowd of families.

The wind was so strong that the Rye Fire Department waited until the last minute to give the go ahead for the bonfire, which they tended closely. The Hand-to-Mouth Players led hearty souls in caroling.
