“Middle School Activities Night is a great way to get the kids into the gym and active in January,” said Principal Eric Lutinski about the PTSA-sponsored event.
Indeed, the gym is subdivided into separated areas with a variety of attractions for all. The Rye Y sets up a myriad of basketball games, so the kids can shoot hoops every which way. An inflatables section offers a bouncy boxing ring and a springy jousting arena. In addition, a deejay provides music that gets the kids dancing all night.
For the 150 students, as well as the parents and faculty who attend, to quote the principal, “It’s two hours of pure fun.”
