George and Donna Smith are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Marie Smith, to Sean Michael Tremblay, son of Michael and Maureen Tremblay of Poughkeepsie.
The future bride is a graduate of Rye High School and the University of Notre Dame. After completing her undergraduate degree there, she also received her Master’s in Education through Notre Dame’s ACE program (Alliance for Catholic Education). She is currently teaching middle school social studies in Dallas.
The future groom is a graduate of Arlington High School and St. John’s University. After serving in the United States Marine Corps for seven years, he is currently pursuing his MBA at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
The wedding will take place next June in Rye.
Her maternal grandparents are Guy and Meredith Elmore of Rye. Her paternal grandfather, Clinton Phy, also resides in Rye.
The overjoyed great-grandmothers are Agnes Zhelesnik of Watchung, and Jacqueline Upham of Bradenton, Florida.
