Mr. and Mrs. Mark R. Jamison of Rye are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ann, to Randall Joseph Ferguson, son of Ron and Jean Ferguson, of Muskegon, Michigan.
The future bride graduated from Rye High School. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in early childhood education and elementary education from Bank Street College of Education. She is currently employed at the Brick Church School in New York City.
The future groom graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School. He has a degree in sports management, and is currently employed at One York Condominiums and the Brooklyn Friends School.
The couple met in 2009, while playing in a kickball league in New York City.
A June 2014 wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. George Wallace deMenocal of New Canaan, Connecticut announce the engagement of their daughter, Lea Grace deMenocal, to Alexander William Maxwell Russell, son of Mrs. Graham Russell Briskman of West Palm Beach, Florida and Mr. Hollis Forbes Russell of Locust Valley, New York.
The future bride is a 2001 graduate of New Canaan High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Drew University in 2005 and is currently a Vice President at J.P. Morgan.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2005. He is a teacher at St. Bernard’s School in New York City and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Educational Leadership at Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
A June 2014 wedding is planned in Quogue, New York.
His maternal grandparents are Pam and Gene McGuire of Rye. His paternal grandmother is Jill Marie Patten of Shoreline, Washington, and his paternal grandfather is Earle Jennings of Somerset, California.
