Weddings

Goldman — Babcock

Tracy Wallis Goldman and Ryan Shay Babcock were married

September 19 on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, at the Villa Monastero, a twelfth-century monastery, located in Campo di Lenno. The groom’s father, Alan Babcock, officiated.

The couple met 20 years ago at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. Both attended Cornell University. They finally began a relationship several years after college graduation when they reconnected in New York City.

Mrs. Babcock, 33, is a vice president working in the credit card division of Citibank. She graduated with a B.A. from Cornell and holds an M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

The bride is the daughter of Amy Goldman of Los Angeles. Her mother is a partner in the law firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and serves as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the Central District of California.

Mr. Babcock, 34, is a portfolio manager for a New York City-based hedge fund. He graduated with honors from Cornell, with dual degrees in Mathematics and Economics.

The groom is the son of Joan and Alan Babcock of Rye. His mother is a recently retired principal of the Rye Neck School District in Mamaroneck. His father, an international banker, retired recently from Standard Chartered Bank where he was a senior banking officer.

The newly married couple honeymooned in Sicily.

Croce — Lividini

Cheryl Croce and Anthony Lividini were married at Waveny House, a former estate in New Canaan, Connecticut, October 6. Rev. Judy Holding, chaplain at Greenwich Hospital, performed the service.

Theirs was a storybook occasion, which included a horse and carriage ride after the ceremony. Susan Watson Scully, a friend of the bride’s since high school and owner of Watson’s Catering, provided the fine dining fare.

After graduating from Rye High School, the bride received a Bachelor’s degree from Springfield College and a Master’s degree from The College of New Rochelle. She presently works as a program supervisor/director for Meals on Wheels of Rockland County, in the Bobbi Lewis Adult Day Program for Alzheimer’s/dementia.

The groom graduated from Mamaroneck High School and later received a degree in Electronic Technology. He currently works as a computer systems manager for the NYC Department of Finance.

The couple has known each other for 18 years. “Tony had his own electronics repair business at that time, and we met when he came to my house to fix my VCR,” said the new Mrs. Lividini.

The newlyweds reside in Mamaroneck.
