Fourteen Rye High School seniors have achieved recognition in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. Five students earned Semifinalist status and nine were named Commended Students.

Elizabeth Emanuel, James Goldszer, Richard Hardis, Ross Mulerrin, and Miranda van Dijk are among the 16,000 Semifinalists identified out of 1.5 million students across the nation who entered the National Merit Scholarship Program. This level of honor brings the possibility of being selected as Finalists later this year and receiving scholarship awards.

Ryan Ackert, Amanda Ciardiello, Melissa Fulenwider, Emma Jennings, Catherine Livingston, Audrey Love, Holley Secon, Joseph Viger, and Michael Beveridge received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their academic promise.

Congratulations to all of these students for their academic achievements.
