In announcing the retirement of longtime staff member Diana Keller last month, the Rye Arts Center also reported the hiring of three new employees. Bronwyn Dunbar will assume the majority of Keller’s responsibilities. As the RAC’s Main Office Assistant, she will be responsible for front office communications and ensuring the efficient process of enrollment for over 2,000 student registrations in the Music and Arts Schools. She comes to the Arts Center from a development position at Family Services of Westchester. Dunbar has a B.A. in Photography and a passion for all arts and education.

Vicky Blank will assume the newly established position of Operations Coordinator, responsible for assisting with the running of the Art/Music schools, facility management, the Gallery, social media, and systems/technology. “Vicky has been a steady and reliable presence at Arts Center for several months,” said Executive Director Helen Gates, “and we are so pleased that she will be joining us in this important new role.”

Holly Kennedy, a longtime Rye resident, is the new Development Director. She brings rich experiences in volunteerism, board leadership, and fundraising for a number of non-profits, including Rye Country Day, The Rye Free Reading Room, and Camp Dudley. She will lead the center in its fundraising efforts to support the many outreach and arts education initiatives, which the Rye Arts Center provides to thousands of children, teens, families, and adults throughout the Sound Shore area.
