New Location Is a Good Fit for Lester’s

Shoppers will be relieved to know, if they don’t already, that Lester’s hasn’t left town.

Shoppers will be relieved to know, if they don’t already, that Lester’s hasn’t left town. The store, a favorite for one-stop family shopping, simply relocated from the Post Road to the Rye Ridge Shopping Center. The same staff is there to welcome newcomers and loyal Rye customers who will find the familiar fashion brands and accessories from the former location plus a wealth of new attractions and additions.

“We wanted to stay in the area,” said store manager Andrea Forbes who loves the new location and the layout. “The boutique-like nature of the store is more apparent.”

The junior and contemporary department is expanded and almost a boutique in and of itself.  New vendors are in the mix and attractive fall fashion previews are enticing for next season.

Also new is a layette gift and toddler department featuring everything to satisfy a new baby’s needs plus soft PJs, mini hoodies, stuffed animals, pint-sized backpacks for tots, and more.

Hot sellers in jewelry this season are necklaces with a single pearl on a leather cord in a variety of colors. Lester’s jewelry selection now also includes the popular Alex and Ani line.

On July 22, Lester’s will host a “Dormify” event for the college-bound, and on August 21 a Grand Reopening celebration will offer fun for the whole family.

Lester’s is located on the plaza level at 18 Rye Ridge Plaza. For more information, call 908-5688.
