Every March 2, the National Education Association honors the late, great Dr. Seuss (Theodore Geisel) with an event called Read Across America. All three of Rye’s elementary schools celebrated the children’s author/illustrator, and, at Milton, the students came dressed as their favorite Seuss character — Thing One or Two, Horton and his Who, to name a few.
