OLDEN SCHOOL DAYS

Milton fourth graders traveled back in time for their annual celebration of Colonial life. Dressed in 18th-century finery, students enjoyed the opportunity to be candlemakers and tinsmiths, and many learned there is nothing like Dame School. They played old-fashioned games, stenciled, wove textiles, and learned how cooking was done before microwaves.

Before the day was done, they all gathered for music and dance in the auditorium.
